Science labs (2012-13)
Three science laboratories for biology, chemistry, and physics, interspersed by two preparatory rooms, were constructed in 2012.
Lab sinks and PVC piping
The science laboratories have ten sinks each, five on either side, while the preparatory rooms have one sink each. PVC piping for the sinks were laid in mid-2013 from the borehole to the science laboratories. PVC piping is used due to its durability and corrosive-resistant propoerties. Because PVC does not react with air or water, PVC pipes will always be free of corrosion and rust. Similarily the inner walls of the PVC pipes are extremely smooth, minimizing the build-up of materials which results in less friction as water and sewage flow to and from the site and reduces the energy required to push the water and waste through the pipes.
